One-stop-shop for sensors - Plant & Works Engineering

2022-09-03 01:20:06 By : Ms. Nicole Wang

Sensing and Instrumentation specialist BAUMER has a very clear message for the upcoming PPMA Show - “From Process to Packaging, we are your one-stop-shop for Sensors”.

But what does a ‘single-source supplier’ actually mean? The huge variety of new products and packaging materials which need to be conveyed, packed and sorted, often means that today every project has individual requirements for various sensor applications. By offering the combination of one of the widest ranges of sensors designed to deliver maximum flexibility and efficiency for processing and packaging applications along with outstanding research & development and operational excellence, makes the difference.

At the Show (Hall 5 stand C84) Baumer will be demonstrating its award winning range of process sensors, object detection sensors, along with the innovative Baumer Sensor Suite, all featuring optimum IO-Link connectivity and BSS.

As a systems provider, ABM GREIFFENBERGER develops and manufactures drive systems for stationary and mobile intralogistics applications. The company says upon request, customers can be supplied with individual solutions allowing them to reduce their costs – and with conveyor systems quickly accelerate even heavy loads from a standstill. This is made possible by the ABM’s close cooperation and partnership with customers.

One way to make heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems more efficient is through the use of variable speed drives (VSDs),as Marek Lukaszczyk* explains

SICK has announced it has launched the first 2D LiDAR sensors safety-certified to PL b, specifically designed to plug a gap for lower-risk applications where safety-rated integration is needed in small, low-speed automated guided vehicles and carts, service robots or collaborative robots.

The new KISTLER LabAmp Type 5165A is said to be an outstanding amplifier designed specifically to combine impressive flexibility with convenient usability for the measurement of dynamic signals. Reported to be compatible with piezoelectric, Piezotron (IEPE) and voltage output sensors, the input signals can be routed to a choice of either 24-bit digitised data via Ethernet or analogue outputs.
